Magic Kingdom Brings the Spirit of the Season

Magic Kingdom Brings the Spirit of the Season

"It is the spirit of the season. You can feel it in the air!" These lyrics could not be more true when you spend the holidays at Walt Disney World. Holiday magic surrounds you everywhere you turn. Come and explore the many way Disney brings Holiday Magic to Walt Disney World's The Magic Kingdom.

The Magic Kingdom embodies the spirit of the season in every way! Children (and adults too) dream of Christmas magic, and Disney brings it to life.

As soon as you enter the Magic Kingdom and take a stroll down Main Street, you will be greeted by an astounding Christmas Tree! It's a perfect photo spot. Lining the street on each lamp post is a Mickey shaped wreath. They are "practically perfect in every way."

Now that Queen Elsa has control over her powers, she, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf have come all the way from Arendelle to share Elsa's icy magic! Watch every night as she let's it go and ices over Cinderella's castle to sparkle and shine like a true ice palace in A Frozen Holiday Wish!

Everyone loves gingerbread houses, gingerbread men, ginger tea, and even a gingerbread shingle at Disney World. What about the Jungle Cruise's Ginger the alligator? Just be careful, Ginger snaps (that's a real knee slapper) but even The Jungle Cruise gets in the holiday spirit! The skippers are a little homesick for the holidays, so they have decorated the jungle and their boats with their own ornaments and creations!

Even Santa Claus makes a special visit to the Magic Kingdom for all who wish to visit. Be sure to see him right away, because Santa needs to get back to the North Pole by Christmas Day to make all your wishes come true. Be sure to wave to him in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade!

To make your trip to the Magic Kingdom even merrier, take part in a special event on select nights. From mid November to late December the Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. An overhaul of holiday spectaculars take place. During MVMCP you can not only partake in the magic we've discussed, but watch for more surprises like snow! That's right snow in Florida! Every night during MVMCP snow will fall from the sky on Main Street U.S.A.

To see your favorite classic Disney characters, watch the musical dance number "Celebrate the Season" that takes place right in front of Cinderella's Castle. Sing some of your favorite Christmas songs with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and more.

The Magic Kingdom adds pixie dust to their traditional Celebrate the Magic and Wishes a Nighttime Spectacular and presents special holiday versions. Themed to holiday music exclusively for Disney, Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season lights the sky is by fireworks above Cinderella's Castle. Remember, the magic happens all around you.
